KDP metadata we optimise
Metadata is how Amazon understands and shelves your book. KDP publishes clear limits and rules, and we work within them:

Files your book needs before upload
KDP accepts DOCX, KPF and EPUB for ebooks, and a print-ready PDF for paperbacks and hardcovers. The interior has to match KDP trim, margin and bleed rules, and the cover has to be sized for your exact page count. If you do not have these yet, our ebook and print formatting and cover design teams prepare them to KDP specifications.
Account checks and new KDP rules
